So the best solution for preventing these menacing marks on your skin is to loose weight or just stay at your ideal weight. This is easier said than done for most people of course. I have compiled a few tips that should assist you in your journey of being stretch mark free and your ideal weight!

Diet and Exercise

It's a fact that the more vegetables you can eat the more full up you'll feel. Vegetables and fruit contain a lot of elements such as water and fiber, so they will keep you from feeling hungry for some time (although you need to remember that fruit can add a lot of calories when eaten in large amounts--especially dried fruits). Eating foods like chocolate, cookies, candy or soda will only help your hunger for a short while and you'll be craving more in just about two hours.

Supplements can be the perfect... well supplement to any diet with a little exercise. You'll see results sooner and thus be more motivated to continue! Beware of some of the false claims beloved of so many manufacturers. If they tell you that with their tablets you can drop fifty pounds in a short space of time - think carefully! Not only is it unsafe to lose this kind of weight so quickly, it's highly unlikely that it's possible.
