How to Increase My Testosterone Naturally

Testosterone is an amazingly important chemical in the male and female body that gives you energy and sexual drive. With a low testosterone levels you can have trouble having children, not want to have sex with your partner nearly as much, or even not want to get out of bed sometimes. Lack of testosterone ranges from very noticeable to needing blood work to see if you are low.

Now if you are wanting a little bit of extra energy with what your body needs and uses for energy, such as testosterone, then making a few changes in your life to get a little more produced in your body might be worth it.

Increase Zinc Intake

Zinc is known to increase the amount of testosterone your body can produce, among other health benefits. That is why it is a great idea to get some zinc tablets, or even eat zinc high foods. It is a lot easier though to simply incorporate a tablet with your meals. Take it right after breakfast and you should be set. Keep in mind that tablets like this will take a little while longer for you to notice the effects, your body will process it for a day or two before any changes occur in your body.

Lower Fat Percentage

Higher fat count in your  body leads to higher estrogen levels, which as most of you know is the opposite of testosterone. So by simply exercising a little more you can burn the fat and naturally increase your testosterone. Make sure if you decide to do this that you do it safely, as you don't want to be unsafe when trying to burn fat.

Flush Out Extra Estrogen

Estrogen can be in your body long past when it was needed. So if you eat fiber and raw vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage as they contain a chemical that flushes the bodies toxins. By flushing this extra estrogen out of the body you make room for your body to produce more testosterone to replace it. I know its strange that your body will replace estrogen with testosterone but it does for some reason.

More Sleep and Less Stress

A study in Chicago showed that by simply getting the recommended 6-8 hours of sleep that you can raise your testosterone level by up to 40%! This is huge, so sleep deprivation has a SERIOUS impact on testosterone levels and it is no surprise as you do get tired when you don't get enough sleep.

Also lack of sleep causes stress, and stress releases a chemical that prevents more testosterone from being created. This can seriously stunt your testosterone and cause you to feel horrible and perform poorly in normal everyday activities. So basically get your sleep and make sure to get a lot of stress off your chest on a daily basis.

Wear Boxers

Your testicles need to breathe as they are cooler than the rest of your body. Or at least should be to perform optimally. Since testosterone is produced here that means that performing optimally will cause optimal testosterone. Boxers are an obvious solution to this problem as they let you hang a little more loose and away from the body and get to be a different temperature.
