How to Increase Mens Fertility
73There are a lot of reasons couples can't get pregnant, and there are a lot of misconceptions about the reasoning behind this. Most people think the woman is usually the one that causes the most problems when trying to conceive but in fact it is split right in the middle at 40-40, with the last 20% being a mix of both having issues with conception. Right here and now though I will try to explain what causes mens infertility and how a man can become more fertile with just changing a few things around. So heres to hoping you want to get pregnant and that you succeed without needing a specialist!
With everything that could be considered medical, make sure to see a doctor to make sure you are healthy enough to do anything first. I will not be liable if something blows up or anything like that so just take this as sound advice that you can ask your doctor about.
Leading Causes of Mens Infertility
- Low Sperm Count
- Abnormal morphology
- Problems with semen
- Slow sperm motility
Lifestyle Changes That Increase Mens Fertility
- Stop Smoking, Cigarettes AND Marijuana
Both tobacco and Marijuana cause a drop to sperm count, if taken for an extended period of time this could be permanent. So to maximize your chances of having a child don't even do it! But if you must, just keep it in check. Ask your doctor what you can do and how you can cut back to maximize your chances without quitting... but he will tell you to quit first.
- Stop Drinking
Drinking actually causes the same effect as smoking and reduces sperm count. Some people it has less of an effect on than others but if you don't want to chance it just put an end to it until you conceive at least.
- Avoid all kinds of toxins
If you work in construction or any other job that you are around toxins, wear a respirator or other mask that shields you from them. Different jobs that are normally around airborne toxins are linked to lower sperm count, so either take some time off, get protection, or find a new job.
- Exercise, but not too much!
Exercising can increase sperm count, but excessive exercise can actually LOWER sperm count. Try to maintain a healthy weight with cardio and such but don't try to be a triathlon superstar. At least not until you have a child that is.
- Have sex more often
