Toshiba D95 LMP Replacement Lamp Bulb
61The D95 LMP is a replacement lamp for the Toshiba 46HM15, Toshiba 46HM95, Toshiba 46HMX85, Toshiba 52HM85, Toshiba 52HM95, Toshiba 52HMX85, Toshiba 52HMX95, Toshiba 56HM195, and Toshiba 56MX195 models. They are very easy to replace and is best if you follow the directions in your manual for exact directions on how to replace it. If you have a model of television that is not listed above then this lamp will NOT WORK for your television set. You need to find the model of TV you have and find the proper lamp for the television set that you have.
Suggested Supplies
Below are the tools you will need in order to replace your old D95 LMP with a brand new one:
- Philips Screw Driver
- Pair of Pliers
- Your New Lamp
- And I suggest getting some latex gloves as your old lamp could be pretty dirty.
D95 LMP Replacement
Usual D95 LMP replacement will include simply unscrewing the housing in the back of your television and pulling out the old lamp then replacing it, however, some systems made be a little more problematic than this such as having the housing for the D95 LMP near the base of the television set. Do not fret, however, as it is really easy to find. If you are having trouble finding it you may need to pull your television off of the stand it is on and look all around it to find the housing.
After you get the housing out, you will then need to extract the old lamp from the old housing (you can and should use the old housing if you want to save money it will not hurt your system at all) then replace it with the new lamp. After that you simply slide the old housing with the new D95 LMP back into the slot you got it from, screw everything back in and test it out to make sure everything is working!
Keep in mind, that this is a regular lamp bulb and does go out, so if there is any doubt as to why your television is not displaying a picture taking out the lamp bulb and shaking it like a normal light bulb will tell you if it isn't working or not.
Below is a great video depicting the replacement process of the D95 LMP, I highly suggest watching it before attempting to replace the D95 LMP.
