A Couple Diets For Weight Loss
57There are literally a ton of diets that you could spend forever reading about online, but which ones actually work? No one diet will work for everyone so results will vary but there is a much higher chance of success by using some of the diets listed here.
Acai Berry Diet
One of the most recent wildly popular dieting fads that uses the acai berry to detox the body of impurities. One of the bonuses of this diet is that it is scientifically proven that using the acai berry to detox the body has huge health benefits especially for weight loss. However lots of people that use this product seem to not make any lifestyle changes whatsoever and just take the acai berry as prescribed. Of course this will not yield desirable results it detoxes not a magical weight loss berry, thoug it does help the process.
One of the negatives to researching this is there seems to be many scams in the acai berry industry that are sub par products, so be on the watch for those if you are interested in this diet for sure.
Atkins Diet
Been around for a long time but recently popular diet that uses a process in the body called ketosis. Ketosis is when the body runs out of carbs and uses up insulin and then body fat for energy instead of new carbs that we intake through eating.
So the usual Atkins diet means little to no carbs for the first 2-3 weeks and high vegetable fiber. Once you reach the stage that your body starts to burn only fat then you start to add some carbs but in moderation throughout a couple more weeks then your right back to normal with a new you hopefully.
Lots of people reported saying that this was hard to start at first, removing all carbs is really draining and hard to keep on. How dangerous Ketosis is on the human body is also debatable.
Negative Calorie Diet
This diet uses the principles of high fiber complex carbs fill you up very quickly with hardly any calories that you have to intake. There is also some calories that are burned off when you digest the food. An example is a stick of celery is about 5 calories, and it takes about 90 calories to digest it. There is no real science behind this diet but sounds good to be honest. You pretty much become a vegetarian on this diet, high fiber does help your digestive system too!
South Beach Diet
Of course we have to cover this still popular diet. It is fairly similar to the Atkins Diet, though not the same. You purchase the book and follow its 3 phases that have led to great results for a lot of people!
The different phases do resemble but are not related to the Atkins Diet so do not get them confused they are 2 totally different diets. The first phase restricts carbohydrates to nearly none which begins the Ketosis process is the only reason why it is similar to the Atkins Diet.
